One Single Impression - Icarus

 01
“Icarus Unbound” © 20100609 by Vanessa V. Kilmer, paper and wax on foam board

Icarus flew into the eye of passion and came,
undone…unbound
plummeting into the womb of the sea
the embrace of the earth
reborn to soar in ecstasy
and burn in the fire of inspiration.
