Flash 55 – You Quack Me Up

03
As an human animal, you would not consider the dirty puddle of water in my pool cover a highly valued summer vacation spot but others with truly discriminating tastes know better. I just have to make sure my husband can not find the key to the gun case while Mr. and Mrs. Mallard are visiting.
Write a story in exactly 55 words.

  2. Ha! I know what you mean. But at our house, it was my dogs that I worried would bother the Mallards resting on the pools of water in our back yard.

  12. Those are two very happy ducks! Great photo... and excellent 55.

Remind the gunslinger that the pool cover will become instant collateral damage if he gets trigger-happy.

  23. Mrs. Kilmer,

I see you're still not offering your house guests the courtesy of a reply.

I think some commenters may be reminding you of that fact by writing the very same comment twice.

Was your husband able to find the key to the gun case?
