MicroFiction Monday – New York, New York

nypostcard My Story:

I think New York is a city created for men, by men.
The evidence is too overwhelming to ignore.
Look at all of those huge phallic symbols.

Thom – I need all of the help I can get.
Actonbell – I have been looking for a way to respond to some comments (like the ones that have questions) in a way that would not involve going back to check the comment section and so that everyone can see (as apposed to email responses which I tried and not everyone leaves their email addresses.) I think I am going to like this solution and if Garrison Keillor does it, then the idea must be “brilliant.” Pass me a Guinness.
Dianne – Ever since I began watching Craig Ferguson in the morning with my coffee I feel perkier.
Zuzana – These are responses to comments made by people in previous posts; answering questions or clarifying things.
Janet – Yes, it was my right arm and I am right handed. I hurts more now because I keep forgetting and banging my elbow on tables and walls.
G-Man – No.  :)
Jim – Falling down while going up takes talent. I can’t wait to see.

If I can say you responding to comments is good but who can remember what they commented on seems like a lot of extra work if ya ask me.

But it could equally be a female fantasy.

  9. This is good reading into that picture, Nessa.
I predict that NYC phallic art will never exceed that of old Pompeii before the last eruption of Mount Vesuvius.

  17. LOL - it does look that way. In Auckland it's very obvious. Our Sky Tower looks very phallus like.

  18. The only comment that comes to mind definitely can't be shared in a public forum. Shame on me. I must go shower my brain.

  28. Following your analogy, does that mean that underground structures are designed by women? Atlantis, perhaps?

    ReplyDelete
  29. Does this mean construction workers are merely whistling at their own beauty? ;)

  30. Laughing, never thought of that, but it rings so true.
