My Story:
Sir Nite the Knight stood guard all night, his dull armor absorbing the energy of my nightmares keeping me safe from the beastie chasing me.
Erika (my daughter) and Nicholas (my grandson)
came to visit this past weekend,
so I spent no time online,
but I got lots of baby kisses.

Glad you got lots of hugs and kisses, they are better than blogging any day!
ReplyDeleteBaby kisses are better than blogging any day :) Excellent story my friend. :) Love his name Sir Nite :) Well done :)
ReplyDeleteDid you get just a few grown daughter kisses or hugs? That time spent was good for you, Nessa. :)
ReplyDeleteAre you most worried about "the beastie chasing (you)" or "the energy of (your) nightmares?"
I know you want to be safe.
..
Forgot to tell you that I enjoyed this. Also I liked your name, Sir Nite. Mine is a lady who once wore red, except for the picture she wouldn't have to be in armor.
ReplyDelete..
What a fun one for the day, Nessa! I love Sir Nite! And baby kisses and hugs are the very best there is! Have a lovely week!

ReplyDeleteSsir Nite to keep you safe and baby kisses to make you happy. I'd say you've got it all.
ReplyDeleteI would love to have a knight standing guard over my night-time beasties and dreams. Maybe she would share?
ReplyDeleteA knight would be a great protector for sure! Wonderful job.
ReplyDeleteahem...could I borrow him sometime? I am really tiring of my dreams and nightmares. Most recently I dreamed about the evil spirits dwelling in our bonus room.
ReplyDeleteI'd give up online time anytime for baby kisses!
ReplyDelete<><
I would love me some baby kisses!
ReplyDeleteI would also love a Knight to chase nightmares away!
"his dull armor absorbing the energy of my nightmares"... that was so well written!

The small town had three theatres in those days (1980s). Chinnaknai Theatre was in the northern corner of the town and Balaji Talkies was at the other end, in the southern corner

ReplyDeleteBaby kisses are one million times more wonderful than internet time. Any day of any week of any life : )
ReplyDeleteSo, yeah for you! Relish those moments.
Baby kisses are better than blogging. Actually, kisses of any sort are better than blogging.
ReplyDeleteI'd say getting baby kisses is way better than being online.
ReplyDeleteBaby kisses are more important than ANYthing! ANYthing...
