I ran out of paper
and I had to write.
What the heck is a person to do
 with such a dilemma?
Suffer the stares of all of
the normal people:-)

Visit me at

writing project/group/workshop,

Write in joy. Write in pain. Do It, Write! (c)

Sunday 160 - Tell a story in 160 Characters

  1. Very well done. But who writes anymore. I put everything on the iPhone or iPad LOL. Very well done :)

  2. old receipts are usually my first choice but i am not above using my hand....nice 160

  3. I don't see why we can't write on our hands :-) That was wonderful, Nessa!

  4. Oh, great. Another governor for Alaska.

  5. Funny 160 Nessa! I never think to use my hand. D'oh!

  6. this is funny - i never had to write on my hands - but on everything else i could grab in a "writing moment"
    have a great sunday!

  7. Cute. And not to worry, onlookers probably took you for a teenager.

  8. Yep! I know how it feels! I've written on napkins, backs of receipts, and yes...the palm of my hand!

  9. At least you have it "handy" when you need to refer back to it.

  10. use a paper towel,
    or a used newspaper...

    love your topic today,
    beautiful 160.

  11. I'm one to hoard scrap paper...I have a special place for just that, and when I need to send a note to myself, I use the notepad on my phone. LOLOLOL

But to be honest, I will do it write and use my palm if need be.

    Excellent work for today.

  12. Yeah, well. They can just stare away, even if I really am too old to be running out of paper.

  13. Thank goodness you were only writing for a microfiction. Otherwise you'd be filling an arm. Great 160 and thanks for playing.

  14. Nessa! Love it! beautiful pic! I used to be notorious for writing on my hands and arms..sometime you just need to put it down and no paper is around! Works for me!! yay..great post! everyone used to are gonna get ink poisoning! sometime inspiration strikes you and you simply must write!

  15. Fun 160 Nessa, love the way you've captured the necessity of a writer: to write, no matter what! :)

  16. If I ever get this desperate my pen decides not to work!

  17. This is a witty well done S-160. Makes me smile.
Brings to mind to mind the famous Nike slogan, "Just Do It" , and children in school writing on their hands, all sorts of fun things.

  18. I still write on my hand sometimes! It's usually a phone number or a price or a number for something else or a gate password. A hand is always handy!

  19. Thom: I do. It can’t see anything on those machines.
Brian Miller: Unbelievably I had nothing. I nearly panicked.

Monkey Man: I could have gone to knees and calves.

Kiki: I got the ink poisoning speeches too. We’re still alive.

estrella05azul: When you gotta, you gotta.

    EG Wow: Thanks.
