Valentine's Day, Chocolate and Haiti

I bet you are all trying to forget that Sunday is Valentine’s Day and here I am reminding you. My bad.

You will need to buy something for your sweetie or you will be in trouble. Dark Chocolate are always an excellent choice. Here’s a unique confection and a way to help out the people of Haiti at the same time.

According to their website, Intentional Chocolate™ will donate 100% of its profits to charities supporting Haiti until Valentine's Day.

On their “About Us” page, they explain that their chocolates are infused with good intensions by advanced mediators (some who have trained with the Dalai Lama) to help promote health and well-being.

Could you give anything better to a loved one?

  2. I am going to the Ritz with my husband, but I am ALSO donating to Haiti, so I'm not a totally insensitive decadent capitalist pig.

  3. Supposedly chocolate is an aphrodesiac. (I spelled that wrong I guess but don't care about looking it up.) But I disagree anyhow. Even when I did have a significant other, if he tried to get amorous with me when I was eating chocolate, I got annoyed. Chocolate won out every time!

  4. Thom's dumb. Chocolate is associated with Valentine's Day because it is what WOMEN LOVE!!! DUH!

This sounds like a delightful idea... I don't think the delivery man can get it to me in time though. I don't think mail is going through for awhile...
