Autumn Assoluta

~ click image to make biggerer ~

I glanced out of my kitchen window,
shadows and light playing tag
in my peripheral vision,
to see the leaves of my miniature, red maple
kissing the heat of sun.

Sunday 160 - Tell a story in 160 Characters.

  10. Lovely words and photo! Autumn is my favorite time of year..sadly it is gone here and the new season is upon us here. I choose to embrace the white fluffy stuff so that these long months of it are the least bit bareable. :) Happy Sunday to you and yours.

  21. My yard is full of them, waiting to be raked into piles. Some trees in our neighbood seem to be reluctant to let go, however.

  22. Sweet, Nessa. If I had a minature maple (or any kind of maple) I'd go read it your poem now, and dance around it with my glass of wine, me just a-laughing and having a big 'ol time.
