Limericks

I wrote this for a comment on Sanity at Waking Ambrose but I was too late.

There once was a thing called sanity.
It vanished due to its own vanity.
It felt better than the crazy;
It got too dull and all lazy.
Now it’s cursed by its own inhumanity.

Here’s one for today’s word, Symbolic:

Words aren’t only symbolic;
They’re full of vitriolic.
They cut like a knife,
And lead to much strife.
They make me melancholic.

  3. Great limerics Nessa. The first one calls to mind Brittney Spears' recent new hairdo.
