I am having a paranoid moment. The world seems to be against me getting online to post and check everyone's sites. This is the first I've been able to get on here.
Explorer won't let me log on at work all of a sudden. My laptop won't boot up quickly. My family expects me to do things with them. I mean, really, this is just too much.
Hopefully, I'll be able to get on tonight. I have to go to work now. This just sucks. Have a nice day, too.
Aw Nessa, I hate it when you're not there!ReplyDelete
Hope you get on tonight and that work went well!ReplyDelete
Family and work do have a habit of getting in the way of blogging.ReplyDelete
Not able to get on?! OMG. Are you okay? I am dying not having my own laptop anymore. I just can't imagine.ReplyDelete
My thoughts are with you.
Your IT department could have blocked it out. The nerve of them! BAD IT! BAD!ReplyDelete
Wow. May family can give me any complex they choose and I'll still show up for holidays. If they kept me from the internet though...it would be a bloody, bloody day in the buddha household.ReplyDelete
Come back when you can. We'll keep watching for you.
Jenn: I hate it when you aren’t around, too. Glad to see you again.ReplyDelete
Tina: I suffered through it; D But I still can’t get on at work.
Bazza: It’s awful, isn’t it?
HCG: I am considering taking mine to work. I hate being controlled like this.
Serra: He says he hasn’t. I am investigating.
PTB: I’m a martyr to my loved ones. I’ll just have to do some rearranging, again.
Computers are a wonderful pain. They can give you joy but there are so many things that can mess it up. I hope it all turns out alright for you.ReplyDelete
Nessa -- glad you made it by my new place. Don't you just hate it when reality interfers with your virtual life?ReplyDelete
Definitely a conspiracy! Well, glad to see a smoke signal, good luck with the computer woes.ReplyDelete
Dammit, you noticed my evil plan!ReplyDelete
Hang in there, buddy!ReplyDelete
How was work? I have poor luck with IE and only use Firefox now. Things load fine for me there. Tried that?ReplyDelete
Blog on, Sister!
Step into the light Nessa...move to wordpress with all us cool kids! I hate when the spinning plates get the best of me too, let a few drop my friend. (But not your blog.)ReplyDelete
Goldennib, switch to Firefox! It is much more compatible with blogger. I am not saying it is without fault completely but it far surpasses IE! Pictures load with a breeze! :)ReplyDelete
Dr. John: If it weren’t for all of the lovely people I have met, I’d suggest we go back to pencils and paper.ReplyDelete
Quilly: I may have to join you at Wordpress. I hate reality.
G: Just a little puff so far, but I’m trying.
Mal: Why you want to do me like that?
Mr. Fab: I’m working on it. This is really testing my patience. Good thing I don’t have access to a tower.
Gawpo: I even loaded Firefox at work (don’t tell) and it didn’t help. Same thing happened.
Kat: I’m really considering it. So many changes.
Pamela: I have Firefox at home and it’s wonderful. I added it to my PC at work and it didn’t help. It’s very bizarre.
I don't have paranoid moments...I have paranoid days that turn into weeks...For me, things come in 3's. The computer won't work, the refrigerator leaks, and the heater decided to quite working. It's 2 degrees outside...I'm going to bed.ReplyDelete
Nessa, just because you are paranoid, doesn't mean they aren't out to get you! :-)ReplyDelete
Family making you spend time with them! I can't believe how insensitive and non-understanding they can be, phfaw! ;)ReplyDelete
I had lots of trouble with the new IE ... have you tried downloading Firefox or Opera? They're all I use now that IE 7 came out (which seems to lock me out of 50% of pages, and always crashes).
Some days are difficult for communication no matter how hard we try. hang in there!Tomorrow is another day.ReplyDelete
It's destiny. The internet Gods are telling you to unplug a little bit.ReplyDelete
I can relate, Nessa. I have a job where I am out in the field all day and am hardly ever on a computer. I check my email here and there with my phone, but that is it. When I get home I have to cram all my computer activities into an hour or more and sometimes I just want to sit down and stare at the neighbor's cat eating bugs--the cat's eating the bugs, not me.ReplyDelete
No matter how inactive a blogger you may become, Nessa, you are still a Gruntonian and a friend to me.
You and me both. :-) Things will get better... just wait.ReplyDelete
And I thought I was the only one.ReplyDelete
It's like the tide, ebb and flow.
How about that coffee....we can talk about blogging :)
Well that just sucks. I hope things have improved since Wednesday. :)ReplyDelete
I quit my job, but the family thing is still a problem. I'll let you know what I come up with.ReplyDelete

Hope you've got the blogging thing sorted nessaReplyDelete
Swampy: I went to bed, too.ReplyDelete
Jackie: I know. I keep looking over my shoulder.
Anita: Firefox didn’t help. I think it’s Blogger. I was able to post some comments on sites that were not Blogger.
Pauline: I decide to just be quiet.
Phoenix: I finally took the hint.
Grunty: Me you too buddy.
DCMM: I am always being taught lessons in patience. I’m a slow learner.
Mo’a: As soon as I am not diseased I’ll email you.
Dan: They didn’t, but then they did. Thanks.
Diesel: Any help I can get. I want to know how you were able to quit your job.
CECCG: I’ll be back to making my rounds. I can’t wait to see you new stuff .
Tina: I think rescheduling is the key. Some times I just need to give in instead of swimming up stream.
