Flash 55 – Gangs of Gourds

They got together in loose lines, seeming to join in a random way.

In truth, they had planned this meeting months ago when they were still blossoms on the vine.

They vowed that this year, instead of accepting their fates meekly and quietly, each of them would turn the carving knifes on the heartless humans.
